3-Ingredient Orange Creamsicles
Happy Labor Day friends!
I hope everyone is out enjoying the beautiful weather and taking advantage of our last long weekend of summer.
It’s hard to believe it’s already September — this summer has really flown by!
I love Fall though, and am psyched for the season to change.
Unfortunately, here in L.A., temps are still breaking 90 daily. That means my walks with Mr. Chow provide multiple daily opportunities to get drenched in a mere 15 minutes.
After one such stroll recently, I was inspired to make a cool treat to beat the heat.
With just a can of light coconut milk, a banana, and a couple of oranges…
…the 3-Ingredient Orange Creamsicle was born.
In addition to just being super delicious and refreshing, these pops are full of nutritious benefits.
The oranges provide a mega-dose of Vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant and immune system enhancer (important with cold season on the horizon), and the banana contributes a large amount of your RDA of magnesium, an important mineral for bone and heart health.
- 1 Can Light Coconut Milk
- 1 Banana
- 3 Medium Oranges
- Combine coconut milk, banana, and two oranges in a blender.
- Break third orange into sections and stuff a couple in each popsicle mold.
- Distribute mixture among popsicle molds.
- Freeze for 4+ hours.
- Run popsicle molds under warm water to loosen from the mold, and enjoy!
This recipe is so easy and can really be recreated with any fruit you like, i.e. peaches, strawberries, or pineapple. You can also swap the coconut milk for almond or soy milk.
Just make them soon before your fav fruit goes out of season!

These look divine. I love making popsicles at home so I know what’s in them. Makes me feel so much better giving them to Harlowe (who would eat 5 popsicles a day if left to her own devices). Happy Labor Day!

Thanks girl! Luckily with these it’s totally OK for her to eat 5 :) Happy Labor Day to you all!!

So simple yet so delicious! I would never have thought to add orange to coconut, and I have sooo many oranges to use up in the fridge! Definitely making some of these for the wee guy and myself this Spring!
Whitney English says:
Yay! Put those oranges to good use!
Dani @ Dani California Cooks says:
I wasn’t a fan of creamsicles growing up, but I don’t think they were made with coconut milk. I LOVE everything with coconut milk, so I think i would be a-OK with this version!
Whitney English says:
Yes, these are not your typical creamsicles!! Any coconut lover will understand the appeal :)
