VIDEO: Raspberry Blackberry “Spritzito”
What do you get when you mix a mojito with a spritz?
Watch the very first episode of #WhitsKitch to find out!
I’ve been wanting to incorporate videos into the blog for a while now, and am so excited to share my first one with you today!
The hubby bought me a lighting kit for my birthday and I thought, “What better way to thank him than by whipping up a delicious, healthy, 4th of July inspired-cocktail?”
Ok, so the cocktail was really for you guys, but he got to enjoy it too.
This healthy Raspberry Blackberry Mojito meets Spritz, aka “Spritzito,” is super tasty, mostly healthy, and easy as pie to make. I hope you like it — and my first video — as much as I do!
- 1 Lime, juiced
- 7 Mint Leaves
- 4 Blackberries
- 4 Raspberries
- ½ tsp. Honey
- 1½ oz White Rum
- 1 oz Prosseco
- Muddle lime juice, mint, 3 blackberries, 3 raspberries, and honey together.
- Pour into a cocktail shaker and add a handful of ice and rum. Shake.
- Pour contents of shaker into a glass and top with Prosecco.
- Garnish with extra blackberry, raspberry, and mint.
At only about 130 calories and 3 grams of sugar, this cocktail makes the perfect healthy 4th of July beverage.
Not only will you be able to impress your friends with the nutritional stats of this drink, but also by being the only person cool enough to know what a spritzito is.
Wishing you all a happy, healthy 4th of July!
