10-Minute Prenatal Pilates Workout (VIDEO)
This 10-minute prenatal Pilates workout video is safe and effective to do throughout all stages of pregnancy – from the first to third trimester!
As I got further along in my pregnancy, I needed to modify exercises during my regular Pilates classes more and more. Soon it felt like I was doing a different workout entirely from the rest of the class. At this point, I started to turn to at-home workouts.
It was just so much easier to fit in exercise during the day when I could do it in the comfort of my own home and when I had enough energy, which ebbed and flowed during my third trimester.
Some of my favorite at-home prenatal Pilates workouts came from my friend Robin Long of The Balanced Life. Robin is a pre/postnatal Pilates expert and her quick, effective videos are great for all fitness levels.
So for the third video of our three-part series on prenatal Pilates, I recruited Robin to take us through a 10-minute prenatal Pilates workout that is safe and effective throughout all three trimesters of your pregnancy.
During the workout, she provides tips and modifications so you can get the best workout for your body.
FYI, I was about 26 weeks along in this video and Robin was about 13 weeks along — with twins!
