Pomegranate Orange Mulled Wine
When it comes to holiday parties, a stylish cocktail is almost as important as a great bag and a solid wrist game.
To make sure both your dress and your drink are on point this season, I’ve teamed up with my pal Sarah of Sarah Stowell Style for a very special two-part segment: Cocktail Dresses N’ Drinks.
Just in time for Christmas and New Year’s Eve, we’ve been working up a storm in #whitskitch to bring you the hottest holiday party attire and easy, beautiful beverages to go along with them.
Today’s adorable duo features seasonal styles from Ted Baker and an equally spirited Christmas cocktail that will surely impress your friends and family.
This festive Pomegranate Orange Mulled Wine features seasonal flavors like cinnamon, star anise, and of course, tart pomegranate.
Filled you with warmth (the temperature and spirits alike), it’s perfect for a chilly Christmas Eve.
The large batch recipe makes it great for big groups and so easy to throw together at a moment’s notice.
This way, you’ll be able to spend more time enjoying your guests and less time fussing around the kitchen.
- 1 Bottle of Red Wine*
- 2 Oranges
- ½ C. Fresh Pomegranate Juice
- 8 Cinnamon Sticks
- Handful of Star Anise
- ¼ C. Honey or 1-2 T. Stevia
- Slice one orange into rounds and the other orange in half.
- Combine all ingredients in a large stock pot and bring to a boil.
- Lower heat and simmer for about 20 minutes.
- Pour into mugs and garnish with a slice of orange and a cinnamon stick.
**Calorie counts reflect the recipe with and without honey.
