Pumpkin Spiced Punch + More Healthy Holiday Cocktails
You’re not sick of pumpkin yet, are you?
I hope not — because I have a super tasty pumpkin-packed cocktail coming at you today!
I’ve teamed up with the fabulous babes of Super Sister Fitness, Love Sweat Fitness, Fresh Fit N Healthy, and Be Well by Kelly to bring you the tastiest healthy holiday cocktails around, all at a fraction of the sugar and calories found in traditional festive beverages.
Check out the recipe for my sweet and spicy Pumpkin Spiced Punch and then head over to the other gal’s blogs for their fabulous recipes.
Cheers!
Pumpkin Spiced Punch
This scrumptious pumpkin cocktail is made with my homemade fireball whiskey and, obviously, fresh pumpkin.
I know, it sounds a little weird, but I promise it’s amazing – and full of festive flavor!
Plus, the pumpkin provides a healthy holiday dose of vitamins like beta-carotene, a potent antioxidant.
- 1 oz. DIY Fireball Whisky (or any spiced Whisky/Rum)
- 1 oz Fresh Pumpkin Puree
- 2 oz. Unsweetened Vanilla Coconut Milk (may be able to swap Almond)
- Ice
- Cinnamon + Cinnamon Sticks to garnish
- Add first four ingredients to a cocktail shaker.
- Shake, pour, garnish, enjoy.
The Naughty Reindeer by Liz + Sara of SuperSisterFitness
Despite the name, these adorable little reindeer-inspired cocktails are anything but naughty. The skinny recipe features a splash of fresh blood orange juice and hints of metabolism-boosting cinnamon.
But let’s be honest, do you really care about the nutritional stats — or how cute the little Rudolph nose looks on the side of the glass?!
Skinny Cranberry Moscow Mule by Katie of Love Sweat Fitness
This festive drink is also full of antioxidant-packed fruit by way of the bright red berries, and it’s only 120 calories and 2 grams of sugar a glass.
You may remember Katie from last week’s Holiday Hustle Workout. Try it out to burn off any Christmas cookies you may enjoy along with these mules!
Strawberry Shortcake Jello Shots from Sarah Grace of Fresh Fit N Healthy
Nothing brings people together like the holidays jello shots. Although I pretty much refrain from taking shots of any kind these days (I did enough of that in undergrad), these tasty little bites are far from those frat party alcohol bombs you remember from college.
Made with low-sugar, fat-free gelatin, these are a guilt-free, Santa-approved treat!
The Brentwood Russian by Kelly of Be Well by Kelly
This update on a classic White Russian features creamy, slightly sweet coconut milk instead of traditional cream, making it a healthier holiday option. To slash even more cals, you can ditch the Kahlua for cold-pressed coffee.
However, I think it’s a little sacrilegious to leave Kahlua out of any type of White Russian, but “well, you know, that’s just like, my opinion, man.” << Name who said that quote and I’ll make you one of these :)
I hope you enjoyed this roundup and are feeling inspired to try making some tasty, skinny cocktails for your next holiday bash.
Be sure to check back later this week for more delicious holiday cocktails as I kick off my two-part series Cocktail Drinks N’ Dresses with my pal Sarah of Sarah Stowell Style.
Happy Holidays! xo

I can’t wait to make this pumpkin one girl! My mom the other day just sent me a text saying: “have you tried this whiskey called fireball?” I was like oh my, where have you been mom??
Loved coming together with you on this post! <33

Your mom sounds awesome haha! Loved working with you on this too. Come visit LA so we can enjoy them together!! xo
Ellen says:
Oh the pumpkin drink sounds great! I bet a I don’t have fireball but am betting a dash of my cinnamon liqueur plus the whiskey might work:)
As for “skinny” cocktails, I tend to think that if I’m having a cocktail I just want the best tasting things and to enjoy them. But in all honesty if I’m concerned about calories and want alcohol I go with a glass of wine. For my heart health of course;)
Whitney English says:
Yes! You can make your own fireball!! I have a link to my homemade fireball recipe in the post :) Cinnamon liqueur sounds delish too though!!
Ellen says:
Ooh I’ll check out your fireball recipe!
Whitney English says:
Yay!! Enjoy!
