Pomegranate Orange Mulled Wine

A healthy holiday cocktail - made with red wine, seasonal spices, pomegranate and orange juice, and a touch of honey.
  • 1 Bottle of Red Wine*
  • 2 Oranges
  • ½ C. Fresh Pomegranate Juice
  • 8 Cinnamon Sticks
  • Handful of Star Anise
  • ¼ C. Honey or 1-2 T. Stevia
  1. Slice one orange into rounds and the other orange in half.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a large stock pot and bring to a boil.
  3. Lower heat and simmer for about 20 minutes.
  4. Pour into mugs and garnish with a slice of orange and a cinnamon stick.
*Fruity blends work the best.
