Anti-Inflammatory Green Juice
A delicious, refreshing, anti-inflammatory green juice including inflammation fighting ingredients like kale, pineapple, ginger, and turmeric. This post is sponsored by HUROM but all opinions are my own.
Inflammation is a hot topic – no pun intended ;)
Inflammation occurs when the immune system is triggered to respond to foreign invaders. This is a good thing – acutely – as it helps the body fight infection. But when this occurs chronically, it can wreak havoc on your health.
Studies show that chronic low-grade inflammation is linked to diseases like cancer, diabetes, arthritis, depression, Alzheimer’s, and heart disease. Luckily, there are foods we can eat to help combat unwanted inflammatory responses and today I’m going to show you how to use a few of them to make a delicious green juice using the super sleek and stylish new HUROM H-AI Slow Juicer.
This juicer is so unique in that it is the first and only juicer on the market with a self-feeding hopper!
I typically make smoothies at home but I recently got this machine and have really been enjoying using it to make fresh juices. While it is awesome to get fiber from veggies by way of smoothies, you can pack way more vitamins and phytochemicals into a juice than you ever could with a smoothie, which is especially important when we’re talking about preventing inflammation – the more nutrients the better!
This juice contains pineapple, kale, spinach, arugula, ginger, turmeric, and black pepper. Each of these ingredients has been shown to help the body fight inflammation by triggering the release of anti-inflammatory hormones or by their antioxidant properties which help prevent the generation of free radicals. The pepper is in there to help improve the bioavailability of curcumin, one of the active compounds in turmeric.
The recipe is so quick and easy using the H-AI Juicer because of its self-feeding hopper. The automatic blade inside the self-feeding hopper chops and pushes down all of the ingredients for you. It also removes the common issues of clogging and overfeeding from the juicing process since manual interaction isn’t required.
HUROM’s slow squeeze technology works at 60 revolutions per minute which is similar to hand squeezing and ensures that nutrients stay as close to their natural state as possible. The vertical pulp outlet catches ingredients as they are juiced, making cleaning the HUROM H-AI juicer a breeze. During juicing, the inner spinning brush rotates to clean the chamber and strainer simultaneously, reducing clogging and increasing efficiency. Plus, the 3-degree tilt inside the chamber and juice outlet will let you more easily pour out the juice and leave less mess inside the juicer.
It also works incredibly quietly so it doesn’t wake my baby when he’s napping!
- 1 cup spinach
- 1 cup arugula
- 1 cup kale
- ½ cup pineapple, chopped
- 2 tablespoons ginger, sliced
- ½ teaspoon turmeric
- pinch of black pepper
- Add all ingredients to the juicer and let it do it's thing!

Hi, The aim of juicing celery is to get most amount of nutrition. Also, if you are drinking this daily, you want to do it in the most convenient way possible. Celery as you know is a tough and stringy vegetable which is extremely difficult to juice.best citrus juicer

Omg I am so with you on the “1 cup of nut butter” recipes! It’s like, do they expect us to stash a gallon of nut butter at domestic always? ???? Also, it takes me way longer to complete the bread/cake/truffles/and so forth when it has sooo a lot nut butter, to the point where I don’t even want it anymore. And I hate to waste food.persian recipes
