4 Vegan Toast Recipes Perfect for Pregnancy
Craving avocado toast? I’ve got four delicious, vegan toast recipes including avocado and so much more. Plus, they’ve got nausea-fighting ingredients, making them perfect for pregnancy!
Avocado toast is all the rage these days. Here in LA, every serious brunch spot has their own take on this popular Instagram-worthy dish.
I’m all for trendy toast. Avocados, whole grains, fresh veggies — what’s a plant-based dietitian not to love?
But why stop at avocados? Let’s be honest, my favorite part of the meal is the bread and the toast toppings possibilities are endless.
My friend Robin of the popular Instagram channel @whatrobinseats knows this and has turned toasting into an art form with her #toastlikerobin hashtag that hooks followers up with four new ingenious toast creations every week.
It just so happens that Robin is expecting as well — she was 20 weeks along and I was 32 weeks when we decided to team up for this epic toast collaboration.
Check out the video to see how to make four different vegan toast recipes featuring ingredients that are not only delicious but also helpful during pregnancy.
For example, the Raspberry Chia Jam + Ginger Toast includes pickled ginger to help ease the nausea that is all too common in the first trimester.

The Sweet + Savory Avocado Cream Cheese Toast and the Crunchy Veggie + Chive Cream Cheese Toast offer the number one ingredient that I’ve decided pregnant women want at all times — cream cheese!

Finally, the PB+B Toast is topped with a cinnamony cereal that is as appealing for moms as it will be for your baby on the way.
