Buon Viaggio!
That’s right my dear friends, I must bid you adieu.
I’m currently en route to Italy for my very first European getaway! By the time you read this, I will hopefully be safe and sound in Rome, sipping a delicious espresso in a sidewalk cafe.
Although I have a huge passion for traveling and have been to some very exciting places, this is my first time visiting some of the most historic spots in the world.
Our itinerary for the next two weeks is as follows: two nights in Rome, a day trip to Naples, two nights in Capri, two nights in Positano (the Amalfi Coast), a quick trip to Pompeii, two nights in Florence, two nights in Venice and three nights in Paris.
I am beyond excited but a little nervous about how much we’re trying to pack into 14 days. This is going to get hectic.
Now I know what you’re thinking, “How am I going to survive without To Live & Diet in L.A. for two whole weeks?!”
Don’t fret my pets, you don’t have to. I’ve been working overtime for you to make sure my regular posts continue while I’m gone. You can breathe a sigh of relief now.
In the meantime, here are some of my favorite pictures from my past trips in case you’re itching for ideas for your next getaway:
Belize:
Learning to scuba with “Scuba Steve”…
…getting up close and personal with a jaguar at the Belize Zoo…
…exploring caves in the jungle.
…monkeying around and white-water rafting…
“Adopting” an elephant for the day…
…getting a workout with real Muay Thai fighters…
…taking in the view……sending off our dreams..
Looking out over the southern most point of Africa and going head-to-head with the King of the Jungle.

Stop waiting for “one day” and put your PTO to good use. It is Labor Day after all….what better time to start planning your next escape?
If any of the pictures above sparked your interest, I’d be happy to share my itineraries with you and give you my do’s and don’ts for each location, so you can avoid any of the mistakes I made! Feel free to email me directly: english.whitney@gmail.com.

Oh, that’s great! I hope everything will be fine, and I can tell you that I’m planning a trip myself. At first, I thought it was a bad idea because I had some problems getting 5-year russian passport, but once I managed to find an online service for that, everything went fine, and I don’t have to worry about my documents anymore.

Travel is always great. Moreover, it is very important for me to see not only the sights, but also to try the local cuisine. Moreover, I didn’t want to do this on my own, so I found a cool option for gastro tours, about which you can view more here. Be sure to pay attention to this way to get to know people who live in a particular city better.
