You’re Invited: Free Yoga + a Nutrition Talk with ME!
Have you heard the saying, “Weight loss is 20% exercise and 80% diet?”
It’s mostly true. What you eat plays a HUGE role in your ability to lose weight. You really can’t outrun a bad diet.
Think of it this way — you burn around 200-600 calories during an hour of exercise (depending on intensity and individual differences) and one big snack could completely negate that.
But eating right isn’t just important for losing weight, it’s also important for enhancing the effects of your workouts.
The foods you choose to eat before and after exercise have the ability to increase your endurance and improve your fitness level, which in turn will help you achieve your health goals — one of which may be weight loss!
Want to learn about proper pre and post exercise nutrition?
Join me next Sunday, March 13th @ 9 AM for a free vinyasa yoga class with my amazing friend — yoga guru Aerial Lynn — followed by a nutrition talk, “How to Fuel Your Fitness, with me!
The event will be held at Athleta at The Grove where you’ll be entered to win awesome goodies including leggings, water bottles, and gift cards and get hooked up with some delicious goodies from Erewhon Natural Foods.

Yes, HIIT is definitely intense, but luckily it’s over quickly haha. I have a few more in the fitness section on the blog and on my youtube if you’re interested in trying more! >> https://www.youtube.com/user/whitneye85
That’s too bad you can’t make the event but definitely keep an eye out – I have several events each year!! xoxo

I wish I was in LA to go to this. I’d love to learn more about the right foods to eat before and after working out. Do you think you could mention a few tips/highlights from the event in a blog post afterwards? Good luck with the event, I’m sure it will be amazing. :)
Whitney English says:
Yes absolutely! I plan on doing a post recapping the event and the lesson! xo
yoga instructor NYC says:
You only need to include yoga in your daily routine to benefit from a body that is strong, supple and flexible. Regular yoga practice stretches and tones the body muscles and also makes them strong. It also helps improve your body posture when you stand, sit, sleep or walk. This would, in turn, help relieve you of body pain due to incorrect posture.
Yoga Searcher Bali says:
it would be great if you could make the same event in Asia, like Bali for example.
