Vegan Avocado "Cheese" Dip

Healthy, homemade chips and dip that are sure to impress a crowd. This avocado "cheese" dip is dairy-free and both are incredibly easy to make!
  • 4 Whole Wheat Tortillas
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil - spray preferred
Avocado "Cheese" Sauce
  • 2 Avocados
  • 1 Fresh Lime, squeezed
  • ¼ C. Nutritional Yeast
  • ¼ C. Cilantro
  • ¼ Onion, chopped
  • ½ Garlic Clove, chopped
  • 1tsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1tsp. Salt
  • Pepper to taste
For Chips
  1. Heat oven to 375.
  2. Cut whole wheat tortillas into little triangles or preferred "chip shape."
  3. Spray a baking sheet with extra virgin olive oil and arrange chips on sheet. Spray another layer of EVOO over chips.
  4. Bake for about 3-4 minutes per side.
For Vegan "Cheese" Dip
  1. Saute onion and garlic with extra virgin olive oil until browned.
  2. Combine all ingredients together in a high powered blender or food processor.
  3. Serve with chips, carrots or over healthy homemade nachos!
