Vietnamese Turkey Banh Mi

A healthy twist on the sweet and savory Vietnamese Bhan Mi sandwich with fresh turkey and whole grains.
Ingredients
  • 1 Whole Wheat Roll
  • 3 oz. Turkey
  • ⅛ Avocado
  • 2 T. Carrots, julienned
  • 2 T. Cilantro
Sauce
  • 1 T. Soy Sauce
  • ½ T. Honey
  • 1 tsp. Lemon Juice
  • ½ tsp. Chili Powder
Instructions
  1. Toast Rolls in a microwave oven or under the broiler for about 3 minutes.
  2. Cut a slit down the middle of the roll.
  3. Stuff with turkey, avocado and veggies.
  4. Mix all sauce ingredients together in a small bowl. Pour over sandwich.
  5. Enjoy!
