FabFitFun’s Spring VIP Box
If you follow me on Facebook then you may know that I recently became a FabFitFun Ambassador.
If you don’t follow me on Facebook, what the fudge are you waiting for? Like me, please :)
FabFitFun is E! News Anchor Giuliana Rancic’s website with loads of awesome info for chicks who like to be fabulous, stay fit, and have fun. Duh, who’s not on board with that?
As an ambassador, I write a monthly column for the super cool site called Hot & Healthy L.A. Eats where I profile hot new restaurants and provide readers with a healthy recipe they can make at home. It’s a win-win for everyone.
The coolest perk about being an ambassador though is getting to review their seasonal VIP box.
Yesterday they announced the contents of this awesome bundle of swag and it turns out, it’s worth over $200. Booyah.
I’m sure you’re wondering how great the products really are though, so I’m going to give you a rundown:
Cover FX SPF 30 Protection Primer:
Legit. We got a full sized product of this amazing primer and it works like a charm. It’s light but still protective and blends seamlessly with makeup. Seriously love it.
Soooo amazing. I love oil perfumes because they feel so indulgent — like you’re giving yourself a mini massage when you put them on. The scent of this one is so earthy, floral and natural. Not overpowering like a lot of fragrances.
Merrithew Mini Stability Ball and DVD:
I have to admit I haven’t tried it yet. But Mr. Chow is really enjoying the ball!
Dermasuri Deep Exfoliating Mitt:
I was extremely skeptical about this but I decided to give it a shot anyway. Basically you just scrub yourself down, head-to-toe with this thing, after a shower. It’s supposed to make your skin soft and be a great pre-spray tan exfoliator. I am not exaggerating when I tell you, it does its job expertly. My skin has never felt softer, ever. I was very impressed and glad I got past my initial doubt.
Oscar Blandi Dry Shampoo Invisible Spray:
I’m on the fence about this one. It smells absolutely amazing and definitely gets rid of that un-washed hair smell, but I couldn’t tell if it really helped with the oil factor. I’m going to give it another try though.
These little babies bring a burst of freshness to your boring shower. Love.
We got a single serving bag of these non GMO corn chips that have a little bit of kale and spinach mixed in. Meh. They’re good, but I could take em or leave em.
Uber-cool. Now if someone could just teach me how to wear it…
At just $49 per season to join the VIP list, I’d say this box is a steal. Sign up now to get the next one this summer!
Also, please check out this month’s Hot & Healthy L.A. Eats article!
I got the awesome new Culver City brunch spot The Wallace to serve up the recipe for their delicious Farro Salad. So good.
Need more brunch ideas for the weekend? Why not try…
Strawberry Banana Protein Pancakes:
Have a great weekend!

I am useless with beauty stuff – never been my thing even though I try.. ;)
GiselleR @ Diary of an ExSloth says:
I’m with Jody…beauty products are so not my thing. We weren’t allowed to wear makeup at my high school so I just never learned lol.
But the headbands look so cute…I legit want them all and the exfoliating mitt sounds just insane enough for me to give it a try haha
Also, congrats on becoming a FitFabFun ambassador :D
Kristina @ Damn Ten Pounds says:
I love peeking inside these beauty boxes. I’ve never subscribed to any boxes, but if i did, beauty products are my guiltiest pleasure. Those headbands are so cute. Please tell me when you figure those out. My sad attempts are not so uber-cool.

I have subscribed to a few of these boxes and will admit, I think most of them are not worth the price tag. This one actually seems legit, though.
