From Sweaty to Sassy…
Today, I have a very special treat for you. My uber-fashionable friend Ashley from The Style Editrix is guest blogging!
Ash and I worked at E! together back in the day and she always had the most enviable style in our group. So today I’ve asked her to help us FIT-nistas (fitness fashionistas :)) figure out how to look great after a sweaty workout.

These days I am always on the go, like most of my friends, and let’s face it, we try to fit it all in when sometimes there just isn’t enough time! Recently, I had to go from a Soul Cycle class to drinks with friends and had no time for a shower in between. Here are my quick beauty tips and outfit pick for when you are in a bind and need to go from sweaty to hot in a matter of minutes!
After a workout the last thing you want to do is cake your face with make-up, so my tip is keep it simple! Concealer, bronzer, a little liquid liner on the top lid and a lot of mascara will go a long way! Last, add a pop of color on your lips like this lip pencil from Nars and voila! Now, if your hair was already good-to-go before your workout you can just throw it up in a ‘crease-less’ hair tie and afterwards it will be great shape. A boar bristle brush will allow you to tame the frizz without losing the style. Add a little texturizing spray (my fav is Oribe!) or dry shampoo and there you have it. If your hair is a little too sweaty, make the pony into a top knot by wrapping the ‘tail in a circle and tucking the ends into the hair tie.
Finally, skip the skin tight jeans after working up a sweat, and instead opt for a chic tunic dress and a pair of little booties. A staple handbag and simple gold necklace will take the look to the next level and add polish. Shop the look above and for more head to thestyleeditrix.com
