Dance + Yoga = A Buti-ful Body
What do you get when you mix high-energy, rhythmic dance movements with the toning and lengthening benefits of yoga?
A top notch workout, fit for the stars.
Though she’s about 8 weeks away from giving birth with a prominent baby-bump, it’s still easy to see that Bizzie Gold has a rockin’ bod.
The creator of Buti Fitness was a yoga trainer prior to creating the brand, but says it wasn’t until she gained 55 pounds during her first pregnancy that she realized she needed to come up with a new method that would trump the results of yoga.
By incorporating her dance background to her practice, Gold came up with Buti: a fun, sexy workout aimed at empowering women.
It’s become so popular in the past few years that she’s attracted clients like Julia Roberts and Jennifer Love Hewitt.
Last Thursday, I attended the opening of her first studio in Santa Monica where I tried unsuccessfully to pry her for the names of the rest of her A-list clientele.
What she did share with me though was the secret to her method. Buti not only helps women improve their health through fitness, they also coach clients on diet and overall wellness. And of-course, the positive, self-esteem boosting workout gives women a mental makeover as well.
Though I haven’t had the opportunity to workout with Bizzie in person, I left the event with a free copy of her home DVD workout, which I promptly tried.
The undulating, tribal movements make you feel strong and “buti”-ful and leave you with a fitness goddess glow. The workout is so sexy that Bizzie actually doesn’t even let men attend the class.
But don’t get me wrong. This isn’t some frou-frou, wanna-be strip-tease workout…. and it’s also not your mama’s Zumba class.
With a huge emphasis on the butt and thighs — I’m talking squats-on-steroids types of moves —Buti is an incredibly challenging workout that will have you feeling the burn almost immediately.
I’m so excited to continue using this when I don’t have time to run to the gym in the morning. And guess what, you just might get to too…
That’s right, I’m doing a giveaway!
Answer the “weigh in” question below for your chance to win. Tomorrow morning I will randomly select a winner to get a free Buti Fitness DVD, which includes 2 full workouts workouts (Buti Tone and Buti Sculpt) and 3 extras (Buti Sculpt Upper Body, Lower Body, and Abs).
