Weight Training for Women Giveaway Winners!
Monday’s are no fun, but for four of you… your Monday is about to get a whole lot better.
Congrats to XoSonja, Amanda, Michelle and Nicole, the winners of the Weight Training for Women series giveaway!
I’ll email each of you directly to let you know whether you scored a full box of Promax Fit N’ Crisps or a Holly Perkins “Slim, Strong, Sexy” workout DVD. But before we move on, I wanted to say a few words about everyone’s choices for the best celebrity bodies.
I was so happy to see that all of the ladies picked were women who work really hard for their hot bods, through good diet and exercise.
It was nice to see that no one is looking to emaciated actresses for inspiration.
I’ve interviewed all of the women you guys picked and had the opportunity to chat with some of them about their diet and exercise routines. So in case you missed it in the past, here’s some info about your favorite celeb fit-spirations:
Jennifer Aniston:
It’s no secret, I’m kind of obsessed with Jen.
When I interviewed her last year for her film Wanderlust, I had the chance to swap fitness secrets with my idol and she confirmed my suspicions, Yoga is to thank for her hot bod.
A few months later I got the opportunity to actually practice with Jen’s famed yoga guru, Mandy Ingber, who showed me exactly what kind of moves Jen does on the regular. Check it out:
Maria Menounos:
Maria stays in shape by doing circuit workouts with celebrity trainers like Harley Pasternak and Andrea Orbeck. But she hates being in the gym, so she takes every opportunity she can to get her exercise through outdoor sports.
Though she watches what she eats, she doesn’t obsess over it. Maria told me she loves to indulge in the occasional loaded potato skin or burger.

Brooke Burke
Even at 40-years-old and after 4 kids, Brooke still looks as amazing as she did at 20 hosting Wild On E!. The told me she stays in great shape by eating healthy and often. Her diet is comprised mostly of lean protein like fish and chicken but says she also gives herself “cheat days.”
