Thanks for posting these! I just signed up for the Fitbit one.
Whitney English says:
Nice!! Have fun :)
Isaura says:
I have been struggling with finding the right program an diet to be fit. One of the reasons I want to be fit is because eventually I want to become a dietitian and I would like to help others achieve their fitness goals but if I am not a good example or if I can’t even help myself then I won’t be able to help others. A little push is sometimes needed to get there and this would be a stepping stone to a great health and great future..
Whitney English says:
Love that you’re interested in becoming a Dietitian! Fyi, if you’re looking to start a healthy eating plan – when you sign up for my email list, you get my free 3-day meal plan! xo
Jamie Damon says:
My 2016 fitness goals is to run in my first marathon! Always wanted to but never felt like I had the cardio endurance to do it.
Dani says:
Jaime,
I ran my second marathon two weeks ago and remember years ago when I never imagined I could be a long-distance runner. I believe anyone can run a marathon – as long as they train for it :)
Whitney English says:
Amazing Dani!! Congrats! I am always so impressed by the hard work and dedication that goes into marathon training. Keep up the inspiring work :)
Whitney English says:
That’s so cool Jamie! Good luck!!
Dani says:
Great recap. I already signed up for the Fitbit yoga event (which is Saturday, not Sunday BTW!). My 2016 fitness goal is to start a health and wellness blog! Thanks for the weekly inspiration :)

my fitness goal this year is to be able to do real pull-ups (not chin-ups, and not kipping). i’d like to get to 5-10 in a row by the end of the year!
Whitney English says:
That’s awesome – and tough! “Real” pull-ups are no joke, haha. Good luck girl!
Katy says:
My 2016 fitness goal is to add more variety to my workout routine. Also, I want to stay motivated and use whatever time I have to fit in some squats or quick arm workout.

To add a yoga practice into my normal workout schedule, at least twice a week! I notice a huge difference in my running when I practice yoga consistently.
Whitney English says:
That’s great Hannah! Yoga is so good for improving flexibility and balance and complementing your other athletic endeavors!
Raquel Novak says:
My 2016 fitness goal is to regain my pilates skills from before my move out to LA. Pilates relaxes me and re-grounds me and with constantly increasing workload from Masters classes and Internship along with a part-time job I forget to workout or make excuses for not attending classes or not signing up for classes, etc. I want to reconnect my mind, soul, and body.
Whitney English says:
I’m a big fan of Pilates as well and think it’s awesome that you’re working to regain your connection with your practice! Exercise is an excellent way to ease stress and stay grounded!
Whitney English says:
Congrats Raquel! You’re one of the three winners of the gift bag giveaway!! Please email me your address: whitney@liveanddiet.com xoxo
Jenn says:
my 2016 fitness goal is to continue attending yoga classes even when my workload increases, and to find a balanced nutritional plan that i’ll be able to maintain for long term results, health and wellness!
Whitney English says:
That’s a great goal Jenn! I know it can be hard to make time for yourself when work gets overwhelming – keep trying girl!
Charlsie N says:
My 2016 goals are to stay healthy throughout my pregnancy then to get back in shape after my baby girl is born in July.
Whitney English says:
Congrats on your pregnancy! Looks like you’re on the right track to raising a healthy, happy baby :)
Kathleen says:
These free classes sound awesome, but I live up in Seattle and won’t be in the LA area anytime soon.
I have two main fitness goals for 2016. The first one is to double the amount of yoga classes I took in 2015. in 2015, I took 123. This year, I’d like that number to be 250.
I’m also working on completing THREE yoga teacher trainings in 2016. I’m doing the Hot Power Fusion teacher training at CorePower Yoga now. In May, I’ll be doing a SUP Yoga teacher training and Bikram Yoga in the Fall. 2016 is the year of yoga for me and I’m loving it so far!
Whitney English says:
WOW! Three teacher trainings? Yeah girl!
I’ve tried SUP Yoga on my own (quite the sight) but I’m dying to take an official class and learn some cool poses.
Good luck with everything!
