Three 3-Ingredient Cocktails
Happy Memorial Day everyone!
I hope you’re all staying cool this weekend. I certainly have been, lounging by the pool with friends enjoying frozen treats like my World’s Creamiest Strawberry Coconut Protein Smoothie.
Another great way to beat the heat this holiday is with some ice-cold, no-fuss cocktails. My friend Nicole from Nicole’s Petite Diary has three amazing ones you can try today with only three ingredients each!
Cocktails. You’re thinking: they taste good, but do they have to be so much work? The answer is: no. I know just how tired we all are of million-ingredient drink. That’s why today I have prepared a few 3-ingredient cocktails—yes, only three-ingredients—that are ever so simple to make!
1. Island Time
Fall into reverie with this amazing tropical cocktail that looks just like a fluffy cloud! All you need is:
- 8 oz. dark rum
- 4 oz. coconut nectar
- 8 oz. pineapple juice
Put all of the ingredients in a blender half-filled with ice. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and enjoy the taste of the tropics.
2. Easy Sangria
Close your eyes and think about beautiful, sun-drenched Spanish streets full of tourists and flamenco. Wouldn’t you like to taste this amazing view right now, right here in your home? Then try this traditional Spanish cocktail.
- 1 bottle white wine
- 4 oz. Cointreau
- Sliced peaches, nectarines, berries, plums, and/or oranges
Combine the fruit and Cointreau in a pitcher, and then allow these amazing flavors to mix for at least one hour. Then, add wine and serve cold. It really is as simple as that. You could even pour some in a really nice bottle, put a personalized label on it, and bring it to that barbecue you were invited to. Talk about being everyone’s favorite invitee!

3. Blackberry Bramble
Do you want to mix both the taste of the tropics and the taste of tradition? Make lemonade for your kids, and put a little aside for the grown-ups!
- 8 oz. tequila
- 2 oz. blackberry liqueur
- 8 oz. lemonade
- blackberries to garnish (optional)
In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, blackberry liqueur, lemonade and some crushed ice. Shake well and pour into glasses. Garnish with blackberries.
With all of these fantastically tasty drinks, it’s easy to lose count of how many you’ve actually had, so beware!
Happy Memorial Day!

These look delicious! I’m not a big drinker, but when the sun is shining, a fruity cocktail is a must ;)
