LDLA Alert: Art Exhibit in Beverly Hills
Attentions Angelenos: Since I know you all want to be “in the know,” I’m going to make it a point to start sharing “LDLA Alerts” as they come to my attention.
This will be my way of giving you a heads up about exclusive events, restaurant specials, fun group fitness classes, etc. Anything and everything that that’s new and hot, and that you should should be aware of if you’re living and dieting in L.A.
This week: Jeremy Penn‘s exhibit, The Gaze, at L’ Ermitage in Beverly Hills.
The New York artist “explores the initial feelings of a single gaze” and “creates a seductive power play between the viewer and the art” in his paintings of iconic celebrities like Kate Moss, Twiggy, Bridget Bardot, and Karl Lagerfeld.
The collection will be on display through the month of September.
Check it out for a fun, calorie-free activity to beat the heat this summer.
I’m thinking of commissioning a portrait of Mr. Chow. Thoughts?
Bethann says:
Please commission a Mr. Chow portrait!
Katy says:
I think the Mr. Chow photo is a fab idea! And great call on LDLA, I’m always looking for new things to do in this city!
